At the moment we collect waste food from homes in the following post codes: 

 

LS1 to LS9, LS16 (Cookridge, Tinshill, Lawnswood, West Park, Weetwood, Adel) LS18, LS19 and LS28.

 

Waste food includes all veg peelings, cooked meats and cheeses. The only things we can't take are:

• Liquids - including gravy or custard

• Packaging - including kitchen roll

• Bones

 

The service costs £14 per month with a one-off fee of £8 to cover the cost of the buckets. In return you'll get:

 

• A 10L bucket and re-sealable lid, collected on a weekly basis and replaced with a fresh clean bucket​

• 1 month free trial - to get into the swing of things

• Two 30L bags of coarse compost per year

 

What we ask from you is:

 

• You pay monthly by Direct Debit via GoCardless

• You put the bucket out in a convenient place for collection
